Boyfriend Coat- NEWLOOK | Heels- Everything5pounds | Velvet Jumpsuit- NEWLOOK |Faux Fur- PRIMARK | Hair- Miss Dabar Hair & Beauty
Hi everyone welcome back again to another blog post as we continue our Winter Fashion Trends series. I hope you all had an amazing week and looking forward to the week ahead full of productivity.
So today's post marks the last in the Winter Fashion Trends mini series :( I know I'm sad too. But we are going out with a bang with the Boyfriend coat. This coat is not my day to day coat, I usually wear this to events or meetings where I have to dress smartly,
It was so cold the day of this shoot, it was windy and rainy and my hair was all over the place, after a while I had to ask why I do this to myself and the answer is for you guys.
Hope you enjoy x
This coat is perfect for that because of its structured look and even though it is slightly oversized there are ways to make it look for fitted. I paired it with a skinny belt and a large faux fur collar and made it look so boujee and sophisticated and dinner party ready.
Try thrift shops or charity shops to find unique pins and brooches
Another way to add a bit of personal touch to your old or last season's winter coat is to add a brooch or a pin or even stickers. One of the trends last season and even into this season is patches and stickers.
I personally go for brooch and pins and the one on this jacket is just one of many that I have and it instantly makes your coat stand out from the crown. Even if you come across someone with the same exact coat that little personal touch makes yours unique to you.
Thanks for joining me again as we looked at some Winter Fashion Trends for 2018, would love to hear your thoughts in the comments about this series. See you guys next time x
